Automotive modeling is a hard scene for women to be a part of these days. In a world of keyboard warriors, it seems that the more success a female automotive model gains the more haters seem to appear. The saddest part is that over and over we see women trying to tear these women who are succeeding down. Making a name for yourself in the automotive world is hard enough without having other people try to bring you down. ShockerRacing began featuring models from all over the United States years ago, and we have dealt with this constant battle. Some of our favorite car models, like Tyler Paige, become victims of this internet bullying. Sammy Marie, aka ThatBoostedChick, has had her fair share of haters. When dealing with internet haters it's important to see how these women handle the negativity. Sammy has taken the punches and still manages to continue killing the game and coming out on top! Many people know her green Subaru WRX (#ThisIsAGreenCar), but she has recently swapped it for a red 2014 Scion FR-S Monogram Series.

 

Our friend Zuumy is a New York based photographer that has worked with Sammy multiple times recently and we reached out to him to get to know Sammy a little better. "She's the realest bitch I know," was Zuumy's response! He went on to say, "She never beats around the bush, she says it how it is. She's blunt and she is funny as hell. I love her personality because it sets her apart from everyone else."

Sammy got her feet wet in the car scene back in high school when she would go with her boyfriend to car shows. "I was just driving a Subaru Impreza at the time, but being around cars pushed me to save up for a WRX," Sammy tells us. She finally got her hands on a WRX when she turned 19, and she tells us it was the best decision ever. She went on to say, "The boyfriend at the time didn't work out, but the automotive world did! I am glad he got me involved!"

The 24 year got her start in automotive modeling about 5 years ago when she was working as a promotional model for a handful of different companies. While she was promoting, a couple people asked her to model with their cars. Sammy had no idea what she was getting into, she was in love with the automotive world but didn't have any plans to become a car model. "I am glad I tried it out. It is a huge part of my life now, and I don't regret anything," Sammy explained, "I love modeling and I love cars. I get to meet a ton of new people through this industry, and I have some of my best friends because of the automotive scene."

For this shoot, Sammy met up with Christopher Higgins in her Scion FR-S and brought along her ShockerRacing Bootyshorts and T-Shirt. She has just begun the mod process for her Scion but she plans to Supercharge the FR-S in the next year. Check out her current mod list below:

Giselle, Tyra, Beyonce - All stars that shine so bright they are known by just one name.  Our latest ShockerRacingGirl is no different and goes by the name LAM.  LAM recently got to work Boxerfest at FedEx Field in Maryland and that's where she met Lee and his 2012 WRX STI.  She was looking for a photographer to shoot her and Lee's STI for ShockerRacing.com so LAM contacted Julio Garza.  Julio is a Washington DC resident with a degree in fine arts and a passion for photography.  The trio found a parking garage in the DMV area and made some magic!

Samantha Lee, aka @SamboSaurusRexx, is fairly new to the automotive scene.  In fact, this photoshoot was her very first automotive shoot!  She was lucky enough to have long time ShockerRacing photographer, Chromalusion Photography, behind the camera for her first time.  Sam joined Chromalusion Photography at the spring WannaGoFast Half Mile racing event in Georgia this past Spring and was given the opportunity to pose with a Cadillac CTS-V nicknamed, Insubordination.  Brian Landfried, the CTS-V owner, told us he doesn't follow orders well, hence the Cadillac's nickname, Insubordination.

Maybe it's her spicy attitude, maybe it's her Jeep SRT8, or maybe it's the fact that she wrenches on her own ride... Whatever the reason, Natasha Tyrrell's ShockerRacingGirls feature quickly worked it's way towards the top of the most popular features we have ever released!  Just a couple of month's ago we released our "Eight Most Popular ShockerRacingGirls of All Time" feature and she was sitting at the #2 spot.  Shortly after that, Natasha's feature moved its way to the top!

As you already know, the ShockerRacingGirls invaded the 2016 American Muscle Mustang Show (#AM2016).  While they were there, Morgan Kitzmiller(aka @Mustang_Morgan) met up with Jon Wacienga and is Screaming Yellow 2004 Mach 1 Mustang.  Of course Morgan couldn't resist the bright Yellow Stang and before we knew it a full photoshoot was underway!  Despite the extreme heat, Ms. Kitzmiller kept her cool and managed to stay looking radiant with her bronzed skin.

Virginia native, Brooke Taylor, grew up going to the drag strip with her dad.  In fact, she has been going to the drag strip with him for 20 years!  That's right, the 23 year old has been grown up around burnouts and race fuel since she was just 3 years old.  Now Brooke doesn't just go with him to watch, she actually brings her 1989 Hatchback Mustang and races it in two classes.  You will find her out at Richmond Dragway burning rubber and racing her dad in his '69 Ford Fairlane drag car as well as a few other local tracks.

Most of our readers enjoy a eventful car show. Even better, a car show that supports a good cause. The American Muscle Mustang car show takes the shared passions for Mustangs and charities and transforms into a one day event. AM2016 was full of thousands of Mustangs, drag racing, burnouts, plenty of activities, all while raising money for charitable organizations. AM2016 raised more than $150,000 for Make-A-Wish®. This year we were lucky to have some of our favorite models join the event and photographer Derrick J Hudson was there to capture the ShockerRacingGirls takeover!

Thanks to a successful event at Mustang Week 2016, ShockerRacing teamed up with JD Dewayne from JD Joyride TV.  A YouTube channel dedicated to JD’s 2008 900hp Shelby GT500 for the upcoming American Muscle Show in Pennsylvania. His Shelby has a built motor and a 3.4 Whipple supercharger by JPC Racing. You can follow along on the channel and see first time reactions to friends and fans of JD’s Mustang as well as reactions to his friends cars. You can also watch epic car events like Mustang Week and American Muscle.  After ShockerRacingGirl, Bex Russ, made a "brief" appearance in JD's Mustang Week video it was obvious that the ShockerRacingGirls needed to have more screen time in the American Muscle Show Coverage!

Meet Rachel Pritchard, a beautiful 22-year-old student at Towson University. Rachel is a double major in Law and Spanish with a minor in international studies and she hopes to one day join the military, finish law school and become a jag officer or an immigration lawyer. When Rachel isn’t hitting the books, you can find her cheering for Towson as a member of their cheer squad that have not lost a competition since she joined two semesters ago. Though she is athletic, she was never a competitive cheerleader before she got to Towson, but her dedication to the team has been a huge boost in helping to win so many competitions. As if being an NCAA cheerleader was not enough for Rachel, she also works two jobs! She bartends on the weekends and works for an indoor raceway company during the week. If you ask her what her favorite thing to do is, Rachel would answer with riding her 2014 Kawasaki Ninja (featured in the pictures) as she is very enthusiastic about bikes and cars.

Grateful for the good weather Bex Russ is back at it again! Excited to show off her bike in this cheeky Shocker Racing booty shorts feature. Bex met up with well known photographer, from the DMV area, Matt Blasi. The two had to split this shoot into two different series because of uncooperative weather and timing issues. “Both of us have incredibly busy schedules. I’m really thankful Matt took the time to work with me and make these images look beautiful.  This is my baby and I wanted to show it off.” said Bex. We are happy she did!

Mustang Week is one of the year’s most anticipated events.  Located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina the event has become popular among Mustang owners, fans, and car enthusiasts in general. This year a few of our favorite models attended the event. Thanks to Verde Custom Wheels for a sick back drop, our girls Alex Owen, Bex Russ, and Morgan Kitzmiller got a killer photoshoot by Jordan Marrow to share.
