This past weekend Subaru fans from all over the east coast gathered in Washington DC for a festival like no other, called Boxerfest. It was founded in 2014 and instantly became the Mid-Atlantic's biggest Subaru festival. Just outside of Washington D.C., this annual event gathers Subaru lovers from all over the East Coast and features Subaru-centric companies from all over the globe. Guests can enjoy thousands of unique Subaru's, an all Subaru Autocross, all Subaru Car Show, huge vendors section with killer deals, epic door prize raffles with thousands in giveaways, and tons of fun and activities for the whole family. Managed by Subie Events, LLC, Boxerfest connects the community with other members, performance shops, parts vendors, and Subaru itself. It's the marriage of endemic Subaru products and services for loyal Subaru fans.

Our friend Stephani, at Chromalusion Photography, put together a great calendar for 2017 featuring women and their own rides.  She called the calendar "Lady Driven" and gave some amazing women the opportunity to be featured in a calendar.  One of these women is Denea Studstill with her beautiful 2008 G8 GT.  Stephani was setting up photoshoots in the Franklin North Carolina area, so after being slated for a spot in the calendar, Denea drove her G8 from Henry County Georgia to complete the shoot.  Of course it was a perfect opportunity to don some ShockerRacing Apparel!  Hit the link to see the rest of the shoot!

Kicking off her busy season of car shows Bex Russ Model, now an Official Shelby Girl, joined Team Shelby at this past weekends 'Carlisle-PA All-Ford Nationals' event. With over 3000+ cars to see, the Ford Nationals is the largest and most thrilling all-Ford event in the world. Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln fans had a showcase of over 3000 vehicles to check out on the National Parts Depot Showfield.

ShockerRacing Girl, Bex Russ was out at the 2017 Ford Nationals in Carlisle Pennsylvania representing Shelby as an Official Shelby Girl.  While she was out there she ran in to our friend JD from JD Joyride TV.  This is JD's VLOG from the entire day and a teaser of his meet up with Bex... Our resident photographer, Chris Auditore Photography, dropped this photoshoot on us month's ago and somehow it slipped through the cracks!  The gorgeous blonde you see is Katie Blaze aka @Sparkling_Spirit_90 on Instagram.  The Subaru STI that you may or may not have noticed behind her belongs to Dillon Rath, and although Katie may have stolen the focus... you may want to pay attention to it!  Dillon's 2006 Subaru STI made 560 horsepower to the wheels, and is no joke.  "It may take a minute to get my mods list together because virtually everything is modified," was Dillon's response to our request for the details on his build.

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States that pays tribute to the people that have lost their lives while serving our country's Armed Forces.  John Forester, aka @F_Bomb_111, has turned his 2014 Ford Mustang GT in to a rolling memorial for the fallen soldiers and those that continue to battle with P.T.S.D. after they have returned from battle.  John is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and after returning from a tour he decided to continue serving our country by building his Mustang with a Military theme. The first thing everyone with notice is the custom USMC F-8 Super Crusader Fighter Jet Wrap that clearly resembles a fighter jet used during the war in Vietnam.

I started getting the information together this morning to begin Ann Janette's second ShockerRacingGirls feature.  One of the first things I usually do when I am preparing to write a follow up feature for a models second photoshoot is refer back to the original feature.  The first thing I noticed... I released Ann Janette's first ShockerRacingGirls feature on May 19th, 2015... exactly 2 years ago!  This date also happens to be significant to me, because May 19th, 2017 happens to be my 10th wedding anniversary with Mrs ShockerRacing... The Original ShockerRacingGirl! So I would like to take a moment to wish Mrs ShockerRacing a very Happy Anniversary!

"I was horse crazy and riding from the time I could walk," 29 year old Jennifer Combs tells ShockerRacing.  Her love for horses began with animals and although that love has continued to grow, she also branched out to loving Ford Mustangs.  Born and raised in Kentucky, Jennifer grew up on a farm.  "I had my own horses which was a big sacrifice for my family," said Jennifer, "I also started working on cars as a kid with my dad."  Besides riding horses and working on cars, her days on the farm consisted of hunting, fishing, and shooting guns! Sounds like a pretty amazing childhood!  These days, Ms. Combs spends much of her time with her Roush Supercharged 6 speed 2014 Ford Mustang GT Track Pack.

When I started featuring women with cars over 10 years ago, it began as something I just thought was fun because it gave me the opportunity to feature two things I love.  In the beginning, it was just about seeing beautiful women posing with gorgeous cars.  Over the years, it has become so much more than that.  I am lucky enough to meet so many strong women who happen to share my same passion for cars, and really get to know each of the ShockerRacingGirls like family.  I get a glimpse into each of the girls amazing stories that have molded them into the women they have become and our latest girl, Mrs. Cassie Marshall, is no different.  As of this February, Cassie has gone into remission from Leukemia for the second time.  She also fought a battle with Leukemia for 5 years before her 18th birthday.  "On my 18th birthday I wanted to do something to show my beauty in my struggle and strength to show other girls that may have went through the same thing to always chase their dreams and never give up.  I went to a casting call for a local agency, which to my surprise I was signed that day," Cassie tells us.

“Built Ford Tough” has been the slogan for Ford’s line of trucks since 1978, 39 years. Our newest ShockerRacing Girl may only be 26 years old and 5’3’’ but is just as tough! Please welcome Jessica (@Mrs_Supercharged_) into the ShockerRacing family! Originally from Whitehall, Pennsylvania, she now lives on Race St. in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. Sadly, her original home was destroyed by a fire, but she was able to purchase another home only two blocks away. “I couldn't leave Race Street!” Jessica explained. Anyone with a passion for anything automotive and racing is sure to understand.

Our latest ShockerRacingGirl, Katelyn Frosolone, was supposed to shoot with us back in October of 2016 but an unforeseen circumstance prevented her from being able to attend.  Then last month, SR was attending Tuner Galleria and happened to snap some pics of our favorite TG Girls in front of a white wrapped BMW M3 owned by Dominic Colant.  Dominic happens to be good friends with Katelyn, and they both contacted SR shortly after Tuner Galleria in hopes of arranging a new shoot with Katelyn and Dom's Supercharged E46 M3.  This was perfect timing as we had been working on arranging a photoshoot with one of the founding ShockerRacing members, Brandon Formoso, and his white E92 BMW M3.  Behind the camera we arranged for Jonathan Salmi Photography to work his magic, and he found us a great location in downtown Elgin, IL.
