Brenda Lezon with 2000+ Wheel Horsepower

This is the story of a photoshoot that almost never happened. It was a Saturday night and the eve of our scheduled photoshoot, I was playing poker with the guys when I was contacted by the model we had scheduled to shoot. A family emergency would prevent her from being able to shoot with us. After contacting Nicholas from NJB Photography and all 3 car owners we decided the show must go on. In between hands of poker, I was contacting all of the local models in a mad scramble to find someone available in such short notice. By 1:30 am I still had not confirmed a model and was close to giving up and called it a night. The next morning, I got in contact with Brenda Lezon aka @Brenda_Vi_Britannia. Brenda stepped up with just a few hours to spare and the shoot was on! A few hours later we met up with car owners; Jon Lisinski with his C5Z06 Corvette, Clarence Eskridge with his Shelby GT500, and Cory Jones with his Camaro SS.

We had met Brenda at some of the local car events like Tuner Galleria, and have featured some of her photoshoots on the ShockerRacing Instagram page but had yet to have a chance to work with her. We were extremely lucky that the 20 year old Chicago native was available and willing to shoot. Brenda is not just another model, she is also a true car enthusiast. She rolled up to the shoot location in her Synergy Green 1990 Fox Body Mustang. Her Fox features a 306 with Trickflow Heads, Victor Jr Intake, Anderson Camshaft, and an 8.8 rear with 4.10 gears. Brenda is the kind of girl that likes to get her hands dirty, her dad is a mechanic so she has been around cars her whole life. As she grew older, cars were in her blood so she found herself making friends who were in to cars. From there she has jumped feet first in to the Chicagoland car scene.

The first car Brenda shot with was Jon's Electron Blue 2002 C5 Z06 Corvette. The Vette features an A&A Blacked Out Supercharger Kit, Speed Inc. SI5V2 Cam, Ported Heads, and a set of LG Headers along with a host of additional goodies. This setup built by our friends over at Speed Inc. made 661 Rear Wheel Horsepower and 529 Rear Wheel Torque. I was waiting at the shoot location for everyone to arrive, suddenly in the distance I could hear the sound of tires screeching, blowers whining, and exhausts roaring... I peaked my head down the street and I could see Clarence and Cory quickly approaching in the bright red Shelby GT500 and Satin Red Chrome wrapped 5th Generation Camaro.

Next up to shoot was Clarence's Air Lift bagged 2014 Shelby GT500. Clarence had literally just finished up his Air Lift install on the car the night before the shoot and aired it out as he pulled into the shop for his turn to shoot. I instantly fell in love with this Shelby... There was so much to take in; the beautiful black Rovos Wheels, the 4" Cervini Cowl Hood, the LED lighting, the custom flip flop roof stripes, and all of the other subtle pieces that made this beast really grab some attention. Then Clarence informed me that the Mustang makes 736 rear wheel horsepower thanks to a laundry list of performance mods!

Our third featured ride is a Fifth Generation 2010 Camaro SS that belongs to Cory Jones. The Satin Red Chrome wrapped Camaro made 760 rear wheel horsepower thanks to a forged and stroked 416 LS3 Motor and a Procharger F1R Supercharger with Methanol. The engine also has a Nickey Stage 2 Engine Package with; Trickflow Ported Heads, Brian Tooley Custom Cam, Kooks Long Tube Headers, and Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust. He also added a Noweeds exhaust cutout for when he really wants the Camaro to scream! Besides the wrap, one of the first things your will notice is the giant scoop in the ZForce Ram Air Hood. You will then begin to notice all of the custom LED lighting around the Camaro and the deep concave D2 Forged CV2 Staggered Wheels. The wheels are 22" in diameter with a front width of 9.5" and the rears are 11.5" wide.

What you may not immediately notice is the custom red fog nitrous purge mounted discreetly in the front bumper for show purposes only. With the push of a button the nitrous is purged from both sides of the front bumper with a red LED lighting up the gas as it's purged creating a red fog. We had some fun playing with the fog and ended up with a fun video of Brenda straddling the fog along with some dope shots!

SR: What do you do for a living?
Brenda: I'm an Assistant Manager at Frisky Dog Daycare, a Riding Instructor at Stanley Luke Farm and a Freelance Model.

SR: What was your first car?
Brenda: I had a 2001 Kia Rio.

SR: What is your dream car?
Brenda: It would have to be a 1969 Boss 429 Mustang in red.

SR: If you could take your dream car and go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Brenda: I wouldn't travel far, I would cruise around the green grass hills of Lexington Kentucky in my Boss 429!

SR: If ShockerRacing was going to pay for any one mod to your current Mustang, what would you choose?
Brenda: That's a hard question, I am probably stuck between an Astro A5 Trans or a Dart Iron Eagle Block. I think the A5 would win, it's an insane transmission.

SR: What prior modeling experience do you have?
Brenda: I have been modeling mainly Cosplay since 2012, where I got offers to do fashion shoots. Since then, I have been published in a few magazine, calendars, and online article like this.

SR: Are you single?
Brenda: Taken.... by my car, and he is a jealous type!

SR: What is your favorite food?
Brenda: I could survive off of Mac and Cheese.

SR: What is your favorite pizza topping?
Brenda: Would it be weird if I said I wasn't huge on pizza? I am not picky about what's on it.

SR: What was your favorite part about this shoot?
Brenda: Attempting to have Cory's Nitrous purge between my legs was fun, but I flinched so bad! Also, this was my first time shooting for ShockerRacing but I have shot with Clarence's Shelby 2 other times before!
