This past weekend our friend and recent ShockerRacingGirl Bex Russ, contacted us about a special project. She set up a special photoshoot for a handful of ShockerRacingGirls through her company BA Entertainment at Extreme Custom Collision. We also invited one of our favorite photographers, Chuck Mahla, out and he brought along a UGR Lamborghini Superleggera. Along with Bex, they shot a special ShockerRacingGirls feature with Tilted Kilt Calendar girl, Andy Kuoni. The full features are coming soon, but for now check out this teaser video featuring Bex, Andy and Chuck Mahla:
As far as the ShockerRacing Girls go, Bex Russ is a bit of an anomaly. 27 year old, Bex, tells ShockerRacing that her dream car is an Aston Martin... Not a Mustang... Huge shocker, right? Besides her love for English made Aston Martin's, what makes Bex unique is that she owns her own company. BAE, short for Bad Ass Entertainment, is her company that uses promotional models and social media to help other businesses grow and become more well known. It's easy to see that Ms. Russ is an incredibly motivated woman that is bound to succeed, and help the businesses she partners with succeed as well. In a recent conversation about an upcoming event Bex is planning this is what future ShockerRacingGirl, Andy Kuoni, had to say "From speaking with Bex so far, she's so incredible. She's gonna go far. Girls got drive, motivation and passion. I see no limits to her success."

I installed the Porsche upgraded LED Clear Side Markers on the ShockerRacing 2016 Porsche Cayman 981. This is a genuine Porsche part that I ordered to upgrade from the standard amber(orange) side markers that are a terrible eye soar on the Cayman and Boxster models. The following video shows how to remove and replace the side markers along with showing how they look lit up and flashing for the turn signals. I ordered the LED Clear Side Markers from Suncoast Parts for $115 and it was definitely worth the money to get rid of the factory orange side markers.

2016 is off to a great start here a ShockerRacing.com. Not only have we been lucky enough to add some amazing new ShockerRacing Girls to the family, but we have already received second sets of photoshoots from two of the most recent ladies. This latest shoot features Harley Danielle, whom we just began featuring a couple of weeks ago. Ms. Danielle met in Richmond, VA with photographer and truck owner, Jamie Derush.
Beamer, Benz, or Bentley? Sam Potter wouldn’t go for any of those cars. She instead drives a beautiful 2014 Shelby GT500 Mustang. The menacing looking, gray and red Mustang is currently her daily driver. Sam's first car was a 2008 Ford Mustang GT and she just traded it in on the Shelby of her dreams. She as well as her boyfriend are hugely infatuated with the car scene. Ms. Potter loves taking pictures with her red striped pony. She told ShockerRacing that she grew up around cars since she was a little girl and has been in love with cars ever since. When she was playing, she would always reach for the toy cars instead of dolls...
In just 3 months, Morgan Kitzmiller has learned so much about the automotive scene and car photography. When SR first talked with her back in October she had only snapped some fun pics with her boyfriends Nissan. Morgan had never actually worked with a photographer and done an actual planned photoshoot. Since then, Ms. Kitzmiller has jumped head first into this world and continues to impress every time. We love seeing how far she has come, seeing her grow and learn from each new photoshoot. It is easy to see that Morgan is gaining confidence and trying out new ideas which has allowed her to grow quickly. For her latest shoot, Morgan met with photographer Isaac Reber and his Sunset Gold Metallic 2010 Ford Mustang GT V6.
I have been eyeing the Fabspeed Supercup Race Exhaust since I ordered my Racing Yellow 2016 Cayman last spring and I finally called up the guys at Fabspeed Motorsport right around Thanksgiving. After working with them and talking to John over there I decided that the Race Exhaust was going to be the right fit for my 6 speed 2.7L Cayman. John warned me that the Supercup exhaust was very aggressive sounding but from all of the videos I had seen it was the only exhaust that sounded the way I feel the Cayman SHOULD sound... It isn't often that ShockerRacing is lucky enough to release a new feature on a ShockerRacingGirls' birthday. Our first feature of 2016 is being released on January 7th, which just happens to be Harley Danielle's 21st birthday! Harley has been working on cars with her dad for 15 years already, as she has been helping him since she was just 6 years old. She spent her younger years going to drag strips with her dad. He raced Mustangs, Camaro's, and a Firebird back in the day. As for what she thinks of growing up at the drag strip, she says, "Burning rubber is like, the best smell."
Morgan Kitzmiller never intended to be posing in boyshorts with sports cars. A short while ago, Morgan did an informal photoshoot with her boyfriend's Nissan Altima. When she did the shoot the pics were intended to be just for her boyfriend, Nicholas Jama. Ms. Kitzmiller tells us, "I fell in love with the rush and the confidence the photoshoot gave me, and I started following a bunch of car modeling pages on Instagram." Her favorite page was, of course, @ShockerRacing and she quickly ordered up some of the ShockerRacingGirls gear. We set up a photoshoot with Morgan and our friends over at TunerSpotting.com(TS) and a couple of months later Morgan is our latest ShockerRacing Girl! While she was shooting with TS, Nicholas Jama tagged along and also shot some photos. Both photographers provided us with some amazing shots that you will see throughout the feature.

I recently needed to remove the hood crest on the ShockerRacing 2016 Porsche Cayman 981 in order to properly wrap the hood(See the hood wrap article here). Removing the emblem was very easy to do, but when you are unsure of the exact procedure the process can be a bit scary. I thought it might help some people to do a quick write-up on the procedure. You will just need some basic tools for this:
